SALEM-"Skullcrush"(2009)

I've been thinkin' bout orderin' a full length by these guys.

These nasty vocals to this sick synth-melody sound incredible.

All of this band's videos that I've seen look so grainy and lo-fi - like their music.

David Lynch & Peter Ivers"-"In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song)" (1977)

An oldie but goodie:

From answers.com:

A self-titled album for Warners followed in 1976, and a year later Ivers earned arguably his most enduring fame, writing and recording "In Heaven (The Lady in the Radiator Song)" for David Lynch's classic film Eraserhead. (The song was later covered by another Boston act of some note, the Pixies.)

David Lynch-"Good Day Today" (2011)

My mind was blown the other day when i heard this.

After "over-using" my Vitamix for pineapple/orange juice, then blended coffee, and finally-a RIDICULOUS blended whiskey sour, my Johnny Gold-loving friend showed me this track (i'm a few months behind the rest of the world).

Here's what AV club wrote about it.

Tupac-"Dear Mama" (1995)

I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day and if possible, wished yo' moms a good one.

I threw on a Tupac documentary the other day then reluctantly but sleepily went to sleep. My roommate said the commentary on "Thug life" was amazing.

(btw: Personally i had a blast hanging with my bro, cooking and eating some sockeye salmon, polenta, and a spring salad [oh, and my mom cooked some toasted almond rice pilaf])
