Freddie Scott-"You Got What I Need"(1968)
DJ Gabriel Mendoza blew my mind with this deep cut at his all vinyl Black Gold Soul Club @ Zubar in Dallas last evening. Yuh!

This was my favorite find while recently shopping at End of an Ear in Austin, TX .

Brass Construction-"Movin"(1976)
"Wanz will always out-vinyl you"-Farah
That was Farah's response to me telling her and Rob about recently buying this 7" single in Brass Construction's hometown of Brooklyn. I had informed my vinyl-loving friend, Wanz, about the find. He responded that he had the full length version on an lp and he would throw it on in a few. He did, and this extended version it soo much danker.

Kraftwerk-"The Man Machine"(1978)
Last night the crowd at the Fallout Lounge acted buck-wild and hyped when I dropped this track. The sick beat, the amazing synth melody, and the vocoder all combine to make a timeless classic. This is definitely one of my favorite cuts from one of my favorite albums of all time.

SALEM-"I'll Fly With You/Forever Young"(2011)
I'm glad SALEM's re-edit of Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone" pissed my dance-loving friend off so much, because it led me to this gem. Off of the "Raver Stay Wif Me" mixtape.
'Tis a bummer that this song cuts out abruptly at the end of this video. Oh, well.

Lords of the New Church-"Live For Today"(1983)
This is a cool cover version of this song originally performed by the Grass Roots. I purchased this 12" single in New York recently.
