Weyes Blood-"Andromeda"(2019)

I am very much looking forward to her new lp coming out on Sub Pop.

Weyes Blood-"Everybody's Talkin'"(2017)

Weyes Blood recently put out a 7" w/ a cover song on each side. Side A is a killer Soft Machine cover. This is side B:

Weyes Blood-"Do You Need My Love"(2016)

This new Weyes Blood lp, Front Row Seat To Earth, is going to be one of my favorite albums of 2016. It's different than most new music i listen to. It has a unique new sound while nodding to the past.  It reminds me of The Roches, The Carpenters, Donnie & Joe Emerson, Carol King, and/or possibly even a touch of Carly Simon, but it doesn't necessarily sound like a throwback record. It's a powerful and emotional record. Subtle in ways and complex in others.
